The Russian Section
The Russian Program within the School of Languages & Linguistics at the University of Melbourne has a full postgraduate (MA and PhD) and undergraduate program (Major) as well as the Diploma in Modern Languages (Russian) available to students. Students are able to take a Major in Russian with a combination of Russian language, linguistics and literature subjects, and, in addition, subjects taught in the departments of History and Political Science relating to Russia and Eastern/Central Europe. Combined Honours in Russian is also available.

Students may also include subjects in Slavic Studies taught at Monash University. It is also possible to study Russian subjects under the Community Access Program (CAP), or under University of Melbourne Extension Program.
